The free app allows access to this innovation and takes into account the
altitude of the nowcasted location to switch from rain to snow.

The in-app gives a way to escape from the huge Ile de France traffic jams
under snow conditions: it provides an automatic alarm as soon as at any
point on your route set in the favorite rides snow is nowcasted. If you
start driving as soon as you get the alarm, you will reach your
destination before it snows. If not, use a safer way.
